(1S,2S)-1,2-Bis(2,4,6-trimethylphenyl)ethylenediamine, also known as TMEDA, is an organoamine compound used in a variety of applications. It is an important intermediate in organic synthesis and a versatile reagent for the synthesis of a wide range of products. TMEDA is also used in pharmaceutical and agrochemical research, as well as in the manufacture of specialty chemicals.
